Bubba the Dog.

Life is sweeter with a dog. Especially Bubba.

The moment I met him, I knew why The Kelley's loved him so much. He was the sweetest English bulldog I've ever met.

Krystin, Bubba's mom, explained to me his condition and why these photos were so important to her. He has Lymphosarcoma, and the doctors have given him a few short months to live. So these photos are for the Kelley's to treasure forever.

While I was snapping photos of this sweet pup, Krystin explained to me why she loved him so much. Her favorite memory of Bubba was when she first met him, when he was just 3 months old. She told me she knew he was the one the moment she laid eyes on him. He was the only puppy that would come to them, and from that moment on they were inseparable. And almost 10 years later, they still have a one of a kind bond.

Bubba loves his little toy snakes. Once Krystin found out his diagnosis, she wanted to acquire as many snakes for him as she could, so he could feel loved. And boy is he loved, people were practically sending Bubba snakes in the mail! 

She also told me that he is a very smart dog and he has many talents. For example; he can speak, shake hands, and even give you a high five. 

 

While The Kelley's don't know when that day will come, they are spoiling Bubba as much as they can. Krystin explained to me that he feels no pain, which is the greatest thing we can ask for when your time is limited.
